Biography
Dr Deacon was one of the first doctors at the Albion Street AIDS Centre, Sydney, starting in 1984. According to the Sydney Morning Herald 7 November 1989, he had also worked at The Entrance, NSW. He was politically active and had been a member of the National AIDS Forum. He had been the subject of two television documentaries (Sydney Morning Herald, 7/11/1989).
