Graeme remembers growing up in various Victorian towns, his service in Vietnam and then involvement in various gay and HIV/AIDS organisations in the 1980s. In the early 2000s he helped Jiro Takamisawa's ground breaking application for a war widow's pension and is now an active member of the Cessnock community and an organiser for Cessnock Pink Drinks. He lives with his husband Ralph in Cessnock.
