“Dennis Gadsby was born in a small town called Te Awamutu in New Zealand but moved to the King Cross area in Sydney, Australia, where he loved life, the freedom and working for Ansett Airlines.When Dennis was in hospice, I tried to call and connect with him but he mistook my love for greed. When I was young, he was full of life, vibrant and great to be with as his stories of the world were fabulous but now I don’t know any of his stories as we lost contact with him. I’ve never really known why or what happened between his brother (my dad) and him. I found his panel on the New South Wales Community AIDS Quilt. Dennis I think of you often. I wish I could of known you more but family issues stepped in.
