The quilt is a square shape, there are no individual panels, backed with calico and edged with canvas. Cotton / synthetic textile / paint / glitter glue / felt / plastic / metal / wool. In the centre of the quilt is a large painted pale blue area in the middle of which is an appliqued Aboriginal flag. Around the flag are the words 'AUSTRALIA WE ALL BELONG' and eight head shapes of different colours. In between the heads are Australian animals - a koala, kangaroo, platypus, emu and cockatoo.These have all been hand appliqued using synthetic wool textile in long stitch. The left hand side of the blue area is bordered by an orange area containing the words 'CAMP GOODTIME 1999' in black ink. The rest of the quilt is divided up into various sections of different colours and decorations which have been outlined in long stitch using synthetic thread. Some of these contain names or other inscriptions and some are blank. The inscriptions include: 'Dear Kathy 1999 / God took you up to Heaven / Because He loved you so / And even though we loved you Darling / We had to let you go / The years are flying so quickly by / And most times I just cry, cry / I love you Darling and I always will / Your loving Mum / Penny xxx; Thinking of you, Ricky; To Mum & Dad, I love you very much, love from Othy; Ashley Mc.; Cathy; "Because / Once you've lost one / you've lost all / As Cathy got sick / there's nothing we can do / but take her to hospital / in a whellchair (sic) / Maybe another's gone / to where angels lie / But will there be others left / to tell the tale.; Fish, fish, Jump in the dish / Johnny Mac / Paul / Love / Miss Kylee.'
