This quilt was made by Neil's mother Joy for him and his partner Keith. 'Neil, also known as Toby, was a communications specialist in both the RAAF and the corporate world. Neil loved music and art, and training at the gymnasium. His main passion in life was his relationship with Ken who also died of AIDS. Neil and Ken shared a love of Tuscany.' Neil asked his parents in 1993 if they would make a panel for him and his partner of 8 years Ken. He asked if it could be about the travels he and Ken had made. Neil's mother. Joy Tyler says ' On the way home from the funeral we noticed the big double rainbow. That was the first sign. I feel that Neil knows it all now. He knows and he's supporting us'. 1 1.
